News at the Zoo: It’s a lemur conspiracy

IDAHO FALLS — A group of lemurs may be called a conspiracy, but it turns outs there’s no secret about their favorite food.

EastIdahoNews.com spent some time with Idaho Falls Zoo keepers as they prepared meals and fed grapes to the ring-tailed lemurs.

The zoo has an indoor and outdoor lemur habitat, which are home to several highly active and playful lemurs. The outdoor habitat includes an interactive climbing structure, tall branches and balancing ropes.

As it turns out, the more grapes you have the more popular you are.

Watch the video above for an up close look at the lemur conspiracy.

If you would like a one-of-a-kind experience at the zoo? Idaho Falls Zoo offers regularly-scheduled behind the scenes tours for the public.
