Teen rushed to hospital after ATV accident in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS — A teenage girl was rushed to the hospital Tuesday evening after she crashed while riding an ATV.
The accident happened at the corner of Canal Avenue and Highland Drive just before 9 p.m.
Friends say the girl is 17-years-old and she flipped off the ATV after appearing to mistake the throttle for the brake.
The teen was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Her condition is unknown.
Numerous Idaho Falls police officers are on the scene and an accident reconstruction team just arrived.
