POCATELLO — Visiting Angels, the nation’s leading provider of non-medical senior home care services, is expanding to Pocatello.

The new location, owned and operated by W. Scott Holmes and Jacob Woolman, is located at 902 E. Sherman St.

“Visiting Angles is bringing a unique and refreshing approach in senior homecare to Pocatello and the surrounding communities,” Holmes says. “Seniors in the community can now select their Angel and build a lasting relationship, rather than experience the endless shuffle of caregivers.”

Visiting Angles will initially bring 25 new jobs to the Pocatello area and the company is hosting a job fair on September 1 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Experienced caregivers can call (208) 323-9050 for more information.

“We have the greatest respect for our senior community members, for they have and continue to contribute abundantly to our own well-being and prosperity,” Holmes says. “It is with privilege and honor that we provide them the care and companionship they so very much deserve.”

Visiting Angels of Eastern Idaho began operations in Idaho Falls as a family owned and operated agency in January 2015.

“Word of our services and success has spread to Pocatello and we have been experiencing a high volume of client and healthcare provider inquiries,” says Woolman. “Our rapid success in Idaho Falls has allowed us to expand to Pocatello much earlier than we had initially planned.”

Visiting Angels helps with basic housekeeping, personal care and hygiene assistance, meal preparation, shopping and more.

“Our mission is to raise the level of homecare in Eastern Idaho,” Holmes says. “Our angels are of a very different caliber of caregiver with respect to their depth of character and values. They have a deep passion for serving seniors. And best of all, our clients have the opportunity to select the angel that is perfect for them.”
