Woman killed in Swan Valley ATV accident

The following is a news release from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.
SWAN VALLEY — On August 18 at approximately 11:30 a.m., Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Idaho Falls Ambulance and Life Flight personnel were dispatched to the Porcupine Creek Trail off of the Fall Creek Rd. south west of Swan Valley for an ATV accident.
As deputies arrived, they found a female rider administering CPR to the injured female victim.
After exhausting all lifesaving efforts the victim had succumbed to her injuries.
The victim was identified as 77-year-old Katherine Brooks of Alta, Wyoming. Deputies determined that Brooks was riding her ATV near the top of the Porcupine Creek Trail when it rolled causing her injuries.
The crash is still under investigation at this time.
