IDAHO FALLS — A man accused of stealing 16 guns from a firearms store in Idaho Falls was served warrants for the alleged crime in the Bonneville County Jail Monday night.

Travis Castro, 30, was arrested on four felony warrants for burglary and grand theft in connection to the incident that occurred at Guns N Gear last month.

Castro had been in the Madison County Jail after being charged in Rexburg with eluding, grand theft by possession and possession of meth. He pleaded guilty to the charges on Sept. 12 and was then transferred to the Bonneville County Jail.

Castro was arrested in Rexburg on Aug. 18 after a police pursuit ended in a crash on Main Street in Rexburg.

Castro is also facing three misdemeanor warrants in Bonneville County and a felony warrant for grand theft. The felony warrant stemmed from an unrelated Idaho Falls police case from May dealing with the theft of a vehicle.
