Man arrested on grand theft, drug charges

REXBURG — A Pocatello man was arrested Saturday evening after police say he stole a car.
Richard Steffens, 21, was stopped around 7:45 p.m. on University Boulevard after exiting US 20. Police say a license plate reader picked up a stolen vehicle, which was headed northbound.
Steffens was arrested on bench warrants out of Pocatello and charged with grand theft by possession of stolen property, possession of controlled substance, felony possession of meth, resisting/obstruction and possession of drug paraphernalia.
