IFPD investigate armed robbery at local gas station

IDAHO FALLS — Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Saturday night at the Common Cents at 10th and Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic/Native American male. He was wearing a light gray hoodie, dark colored pants, white shoes and one black glove on his right hand.
According to Idaho Falls Police reports, officers responded to the Common Cents, 1003 S. Boulevard, in reference to a robbery around 10:30 p.m. The store clerk stated the unknown male came into the store, picked up an alcoholic beverage and waited for the other customers to leave before approaching the counter.
The male than brandished a handgun and then put it back into his pocket before demanding cash from the cash register. The male left the store on foot.
