Local man killed in rollover accident near Shoshone

The following is a news release from the Idaho State Police.
SHOSHONE — Idaho State Police are investigating a crash at 385 E Highway 26, east of Shoshone that left one man dead on Tuesday morning.
Weston Kirkpatrick, age 21 of Hamer, was driving westbound on US26 near milepost 170 when he went off the road on the left side. Kirkpatrick overcorrected, and his vehicle went back across the highway, off the road on the right side, and through a residential fence at 385 E. U.S Highway 26.
The vehicle then rolled, coming to rest in the front yard of the residence. Kirkpatrick was ejected and died at the scene of the crash.
He was not wearing his seatbelt. Notification has been made to next of kin.
