Missing Pocatello woman found deceased in the Snake River

POCATELLO — The Jerome County Sheriff’s Office says a woman’s body has been found in the Snake River and detectives are working to identify the deceased woman and the cause of death.

The body was recovered Friday under the Perrine Bridge.

The Idaho Missing Alert Facebook page reported that the body recovered is Lilly Morse, a Pocatello woman who was reported missing and endangered more than a week ago.

Facebook posts by friends and family of Lilly Morse also stated that the deceased individual is Morse.

Morse, 35, was reported missing by a family member and was last seen Oct. 8.

The Jerome County Sheriff’s Office said that Morse’s vehicle was located the following day on the Jerome side of the Perrine Bridge. Her phone, keys and purse were inside her unlocked car, but there was no sign of Morse.
