REXBURG — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says they are still looking for a man who ran from parole officers yesterday, prompting an emergency notification phone call Thursday evening.

Thursday at 7:15 p.m. Tyrell Fisher ran on foot from our deputy and probation officer from his house in Plano.

Authorities say the community is not at risk, but would like to remind people to keep their car doors locked as Fisher is still wanted and does have a history of allegedly stealing unsecured vehicles.

An Idaho Department of Correction parole officer along with a Madison County Sheriff deputy went to Fisher’s home Thursday evening to speak to him about some parole violations, it was at that point that he fled from officers.

David Birch, deputy chief of the Idaho Department of Correction’s Division of Probation and Parole tells EastIdahoNews.com “Due to the extent of his efforts to elude the parole officer, he could face additional charges and/or violations.”

IDOC says that a warrant has been issued for Fisher’s arrest.

Police ask if you see Tyrell Fisher, please call Madison Dispatch at (208) 356-5426 or 911.

Fisher was arrested in April on two counts of motor vehicle theft, those charges are still pending. He was on felony parole at the time.
