UPDATE: 6-year-old found safe, Amber Alert cancelled

Authorities confirm that Danika Packard and Tracy Packard were found safe in Spokane, Washington. The Amber Alert was cancelled Monday afternoon after the 6-year-old Spokane Valley girl was taken from her school.

The following is an alert from law enforcement.

POST FALLS — Civil authorities have issued a Child Abduction Emergency for all of Idaho, parts of Oregon, Montana and Washington beginning at 3:41 pm and ending at 5:41 p.m.

Authorities are seeking information regarding a child who was abducted in Spokane County, Washington.

The Washington State Patrol is looking for a child who was last seen in Post Falls, Idaho and is believed to be in danger. The child’s name is Danika Packard. She is a 6-year-old female with brown hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink or
purple top.

Authorities say that the child may be in the company of Tracy Packard, and they may be traveling in a maroon Buick LeSabre that was last seen heading east on I-90 in Post Falls, Idaho.
