Three woman allegedly found hiding with drugs after fleeing from police

IDAHO FALLS — Police arrested three women after they were allegedly found in possession of drugs after fleeing from police.

Idaho Falls Police report officers attempted to stop a Suzuki Forsa, driven by Alese M. Torrez, 23, near John Adams Parkway and Tiger Avenue around 1:53 a.m. Thursday morning, according to a news release.

The car was occupied by three women later identified as Torrez, Destiny J. Gardner, 21, and Tatyshya M. Stuckman, 24.

Torrez is said to have fled from police as she accelerated and continued east on John Adams.

Officers lost sight of the vehicle, but later discovered it abandoned in an alley in the 100 block of Seventh Street.

The three women were located hiding inside the breezeway of an apartment building. Police say the women were found in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Gardner was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Stuckman was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, providing a false name and a felony warrant.

Torrez was arrested for felony eluding, driving without privileges, felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three Idaho Falls women were booked into the Bonneville County Jail. No bond has been set.
