Women arrested on drug charges following police search warrant

POCATELLO — Two women were arrested on drug charges Tuesday night as police served a search warrant at a home on the 800 block of 5th West around 9:45 p.m.
Officers say 27-year-old Sunny Ochoa was renting a room at the home. Detectives found 1 gram of methamphetamine, 8.3 grams of heroin and a pistol in Ochoa’s room, according to a police report.
While serving the warrant, officers recognized 30-year-old Hollie Fransen and knew her to have active arrest warrants.
Police followed her to the parking lot where they say she fled. Officers apprehended her quickly and say she was carrying an unknown amount of heroin.
Ochoa was arrested on one possession of methamphetamine charge and one drug trafficking charge.
Fransen was taken into custody on four arrest warrants and a possession of a controlled substance charge.
Both women were booked in the Bannock County Jail.
