Shirtless man carrying baby accused of stealing $8,000 ring from I.F. jewelry store

IDAHO FALLS — Police are searching for a man suspected of stealing an $8,000 ring from Jensen Jewelers inside the Grand Teton Mall Monday afternoon around 3 p.m.
Photos of the suspect released from the Idaho Falls Police Department show the shirtless man wearing a coat and carrying a young baby in a carseat.
Police say he was last seen driving a white Toyota Highlander with a front Montana license plate. He appears to have removed the rear place and left the mall traveling west on 17th Street, according to Idaho Falls Police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen.
