REXBURG – Locals and college students are associating a unique dome shaped building with mouthwatering burgers.

The Burg in Rexburg has been around for almost two years as a sit down burger, fries and shake joint.

“We offer a gourmet burgers, gourmet fresh-cut fries, and hand-made shakes,” manager Layne Davidson says.

Davidson says people flock to The Burg for its fresh menu items. Everything is made to order. The burger patties are hand crafted, fries are cut fresh daily, and soft buns are made from a secret Burg recipe.

“Our portions are big, but our quality is great. That’s why people love us,” Davidson says.

The Burg offers a simple menu where people can customize their order: A single hamburger, a single cheeseburger, or a single “Burg.” All burgers come with lettuce, tomato, and Burg sauce. Any burger can be turned from a single into a double.

“We just have three basic burgers, you can build on, you can add, you can subtract anything you want,” Assistant manager Megan Hadlock says.

The Burg’s specialty menu item is appropriately called “The Burg”.

“Basically it’s a spicy bacon cheese burger,” Davidson says.

Davidson says along with their tasty meals, another draw to the burger joint is its live music events. Every Tuesday is karaoke night, Thursday is open-mic night, and on Friday live music is performed by bands from all over the country.

For information on menu items, or daily specials go to The Burg’s website and Facebook page. Customers can order online.
