The incident began around 6:30 pm. on the 1000 block of Canyon Avenue, when officers spotted Kim Summers, 54, of Idaho Falls.

Summers had several warrants out for his arrest, including a felony Bonneville County warrant.

When he saw the officers, he ran into the home of Kristina R. McLaughlin, 50, police said in a news release.

Officers went to the home, and McLaughlin denied Summers had ever been there, even after they told her he had a felony warrant, police said.

Summers tried to escape out of the home through another door, but police caught him, according to a news release.

He was arrested on the warrants.

Three others who were wanted by police were in the home and arrested. Lacey Gyorfy, 27, was arrested on a felony Bonneville County warrant; Jake C. Summers, 33, of Idaho Falls, was arrested on a misdemeanor Idaho Falls warrant; and Joshua D. Koso, 23, of Ammon was arrested on felony and misdemeanor Bonneville County warrants.

McLaughlin was arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail. Court records show she is being charged with harboring a person convicted of a felony, which is itself a felony, and resisting or obstructing officers, a misdemeanor. Her bond was set at $20,000.
