July 23rd-31st, 2016 is National Moth Week! During National Moth week citizen scientists will be hosting Moth Parties all over the United States. During a Moth Party, the partiers capture moths, photograph them, and submit their photos to scientists for identification. The Idaho Museum of Natural History will be hosting a free Moth Party July 29th, 2016 from 10:00PM-12:00AM. Partiers will be allowed to capture moths and help photograph them. Parents are encouraged to stay and play with their kids as some children are not yet old enough to be without a parent.
