Saturdays 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Mark Richardson has been doing radio in news and talk for 22 years. He began radio as a teen working with his father, Mel Richardson, broadcasting high school and Ricks college football and basketball games, and continued broadcasting the games through college. In 1993 Mark joined Mel and his two brothers, Lance and Todd, with the beginning of Probing America. Mark and Mel took over the daily show in 1996 and continued probing local, state, and national politics until December of 2011 when Mel retired and Mark became host of Idaho’s Afternoon News. Probing America was moved to Saturday mornings from 7:00 – 9:00 am and remains there today.
Mark is the author and producer of the features, “The Constitutional Minute,” and “The Principles of Liberty.” He has spent the past twenty-five years studying the foundations of the constitution and the writings of the Framers as well as the works of those who preceded them in laying the foundations for the principles the nation is established upon. Mark is a popular public speaker throughout Eastern Idaho speaking on politics, government and the U. S. Constitution.
Probing America with Mark Richardson, heard Saturday mornings from 7:00 – 9:00 am, is an in depth political radio show covering more than just headlines. We delve into the topics of the day, state and national, exploring the laws, regulations and actions of our elected leaders and government officials, and relating those to the constitution and the principles of liberty.
