Minneapolis Will Host Super Bowl LII

NFL Shield (NFL)(ATLANTA) — Minneapolis on Tuesday was chosen to host the Super Bowl in 2018.
Minneapolis beat out New Orleans and Indianapolis after a secret ballot was held by NFL owners.
“We’re very proud to host Super Bowl LII,” Vikings owner Zygi Wilf said. “It’ll be an exciting time. I know we’ll do a great job and we’ll be proud. Working very hard right now to build a world-class venue.”
Wilf is talking about the $1 billion stadium that will be built at the site of the old Metrodome and should be ready in 2016.
Minneapolis made history by beating out New Orleans, which had been 10-for-10 in previous Super Bowl bids.
