I.F. Man Arrested for Attempted Strangulation

(IDAHO FALLS) – An Idaho Falls man is in jail after police say he beat and then attempted to strangle his girlfriend. The Post Register reports that 33-year-old Lucan Charboneau came home early Tuesday morning and got into an argument with the victim. The woman later left her apartment and went to the hospital, where she was treated for scratches and bruises. If convicted, Charboneau could face a 15-year prison sentence.
