Missing Miner Found Dead

(MULLAN) – A northern Idaho silver miner has been found dead, over a week after crews started searching for him. Hecla Mining Co. officials say the body of 53-year-old Larry “Pete” Marek was found Sunday afternoon. Rescuers believe Marek died during the April 15 cave-in. An investigation is ongoing.
