Accused Murderer Has Day in Court

(POCATELLO) – A Pocatello man accused of killing his estranged wife made his first official court appearance yesterday. Michael Lane Sparks was wheeled into the courtroom wearing a back brace and casts on both legs. Police say that just minutes after killing his wife Sparks rolled his car while fleeing the scene and sustained serious injuries. The suspects preliminary hearing was rescheduled for August 2 due to his medical condition.
