Former Bannock County Deputy Sentenced for Embezzlement

(POCATELLO) – A former Bannock County Sheriff’s Deputy will spend the next two years on probation for stealing from the Bannock County Deputy Sheriff’s Association. KPVI reports that Amber Spencer was sentenced to two years in prison but had the prison term suspended for probation. Spencer took more than $3,000 during a one year period. She must also complete 50 hours of community service.
