Landslides Block Regional Roads

(EASTERN IDAHO) – A wet spring and heavy runoff isn’t just effecting Idaho’s rivers, it’s making an impact on mountain sides as well. A small rock slide blocked a section of U.S. Highway 93 north of Salmon on Sunday. Crews continue to monitor the central-Idaho slide, as well as a massive landslide on U.S. Highway 26 south of Jackson. Video taken earlier this week shows the Wyoming slide is moving several feet each hour, with hundreds of tons of debris pouring into the Snake River.
