Mountain Lion Terrorizes Chubbuck Residents

(CHUBBUCK) – A mountain lion wandering the streets of Chubbuck sent a school into lockdown and a community looking over their shoulders yesterday. Police caught a glimpse of the cougar after receiving a call from a resident on Hawthorne Road. Classrooms at Chubbuck Elementary went into lockdown just after 1 p.m. with students being held after school until parents could come pick them up. The feline’s whereabouts are unknown.
