ON Donates $5M to ISU Nuclear Research

(POCATELLO) – A local company is giving Idaho State University a lot of help for aspiring nuclear engineers.
ON Semiconductor donated $5 million in equipment to ISU’s new research facility. Local News 8 reports that the university is thrilled about the prospect making ISU a better research institution.
“So this gives us the ability to bring in accelerators, reactors and material science all in one place…We didn’t have that ability before,” associate professor Eric Burgett said.
