ISU Professor's Union

(POCATELLO) – A college professors union is criticizing policies at Idaho State University. The American Association of University Professors claims ISU can’t maintain high academic standards and still suspend the faculty senate. School administrators disagreed.
“In our opinion, that report is biased, unbalanced, and contains numerous critical flaws,” ISU Director of Communications Mark Levine said. “At no point did AAUP ever contact a single person in the ISU administration or the state board of education in investigating this matter.” ISU officials are confident that a resolution can be reached with the faculty senate this fall.
