Fundraiser Underway for Local Elementary School Playground

(Rexburg) A local elementary school is getting a new playground for kids with special needs. The Burton Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization in Rexburg has already raised nearly $50,000 for the playground. Melaleuca founder, Frank Vandersloot says he will match every dollar raised before Saturday. The PTO is holding a basketball tournament tonight and Friday evening at 5:30 and at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $5.
