Gun Used In a Citizen's Arrest Gone Wrong

Idaho Falls Police took a man into custody Tuesday night after he attempted to make a “citizen’s arrest” on a woman he believed was driving drunk. 37-year-old Jason Gregory Lawrence was charged with aiming a weapon at others. Authorities say Lawrence portrayed himself as a police officer and used a handgun in the incident. The driver was able to escape and call police. The suspect will be back in court July 6.
