Craig Stutzman Resigns After DUI

A wide-receivers coach for Idaho State University has resigned before having coached a single game. Craig Stutzman was arrested in Blaine County May 11, on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Stutzman had previously coached at Hawai’i, Portland State, and the University of Memphis. ISU Sports Director Matt Gittins declined to comment on whether Stutzman’s decision to resign was his own or the university’s. Stutzman has pleaded not guilty to the charge and a jury trial has been set for July 28.
