No BMX Riders for Fourth of July Parade
Published atA local biking group is frustrated with a decision by the city of Idaho Falls to not allow them to participate in this year’s Fourth of July celebration. Local News 8 reports the Snake River BMX won’t be riding in the parade, because organizers are concerned they’ll slow things down. As a compromise the Chamber of Commerce has offered the bikers their own space to perform during the festivities. Though the group is disappointed, organizers say they think the bikers are an important part of the community.
