Pocatello Woman Charged with Abortion Crime

(POCATELLO) – A Pocatello woman who police say performed an unlawful abortion on her unborn child has been formally charged. 32-year-old Jennie Linn McCormack will be arraigned June 10 for the felony unlawful termination of her pregnancy. KPVI reports that McCormack’s fetus was left in a box on a doorstep last December. If convicted, McCormack could spend up to 5 years in prison and pay a $5,000 fine.
