Rivers Reaching High Levels

Rivers in the upper valley are higher than they’ve been all season. Lifelong residents of St. Anthony tell Local News 8 that they’ve never seen anything like it. “We haven’t seen the water this high in St. Anthony. We’ve had flooding before but nothing like this, covering the city park,” Gloria Winters said. “It hasn’t been this high for not even 10 years or more,” ten-year-olds Jase and Braeden Chavez said. Fremont County officials caution that visitors should stay clear of the water. It has a lot of debris, it’s cold and it’s moving fast.
