A local firefighting team has spent the past two weeks struggling to battle the blazes raging in Arizona, and now they’re back for a little rest. Local News 8 reports, when the Snake River Hotshots came back to Pocatello on Wednesday, they still smelled like the smoke from the fire they’ve been fighting for two straight weeks. They just have two days to rest before they may be sent out again. So far the fire has destroyed 32 homes and 36 outbuildings. Crews dug lines and cleared brush to make sure that number doesn’t grow. Dave Roy from Pocatello said it definitely isn’t a job for the lazy.
