An Ada County Sheriff’s Deputy had to shoot a dog Tuesday night after it charged him in a Meridian neighborhood. Witnesses say two pit bulls were wandering the area terrorizing residents and that the deputy “had no other options.” Animal Control was able to apprehend the other dog and return it to its owner, who was cited for having a dog at large.
