Burglar Caught in the Act

Idaho Falls Police arrested a Rigby man Friday morning after he was caught in the act of burglarizing a home in the 500 block of North Woodruff.
Richard L. Farris, 18, was arrested for burglary, possession of burglary tools and possession of stolen items.
Police responded to the 500 block of North Woodruff after a resident reported that Farris attempted to break into their residence. The resident scared Farris off with a gun.
Officers located Farris, who matched the description given by the resident, walking through the area. He had in his possession CDs and other small items. He also had tools used to bust car windows.
