The ISBE has approved an addition $7.5 million

Chief Fiscal Officer Matt Freeman says the extra funding comes after agreements between the state and the federal government for public schools to preserve teaching jobs. Republican State Sen. Dean Cameron of Rupert voiced his disapproval of the decision, saying the board should “rethink their approach.”
