Major Construction to Begin in Idaho Falls

Construction begins today on five eastern Idaho bridges in what is being called a “bridge preservation project.” KPVI reports that crews will be resurfacing two overpasses off of I-15, two off of U.S. 20, as well as a canal bridge on U.S. 20. Idaho State Police say they’ll be beefing up patrols around construction areas and enforcing hefty fines. The projects are scheduled to be completed in late August.
