Man Stabbed During A Fight

Joelyn Hanson, who is the Public Information Officer for IFPD, told East Idaho News that the Idaho Falls Police Department is investigating a fight that occurred in the 100 block of Clubhouse Circle on Saturday that resulted in someone being stabbed. Police responded to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center just before 8 p.m. to take a report of an aggravated assault.
The victim told police that while with a friend at a woman’s apartment, two men arrived and started assaulting the friend. When the victim tried to break up the fight, he was stabbed in the chest with a knife. The wound was non-life threatening.
One man is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 pounds with short brown hair. The other male is a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 240 pounds with red hair and freckles.
