Why Its Not A Good Idea To Lie to Police
Published atJoelyn Hanson, who is the Public Information Officer for IFPD, told East Idaho News that Idaho Falls Police arrested two men Thursday for accessory to a felony after they tried to harbor wanted felons.
Joseph Manuel Severa, 48, and Jerry Tristan Smith, 35, both of Idaho Falls lied to police about the whereabouts of a wanted felon.
According to reports, officers arrived at a residence in the 3600 block of Pauline to serve felony warrants to Daniel John Harris and Braquel Moncur. Officers had information that both suspects were at the residence.
Severa and Smith denied Harris and Moncur were in the residence. Both Harris and Moncur were found by police at the residence.
