Rattle Snake Found In A Local Woman's Garden

A local woman was recently bit by a rattlesnake while working in her garden. KPVI reports that Adele Lewis was working in her strawberry patch outside her home in the foothills east of Idaho Falls when the snake bit her. Lewis spent two days in the hospital and says she’s much more cautious about working in her garden. She says her husband killed the rattler with a rake shortly after the attack. Nationwide about 8,000 people are bit by venomous snakes each year, with 5 to 6 resulting in fatalities.
