A Car Crashes Into the Snake River

All 5 Passengers Are Unharmed

A car, carrying one adult and four teenagers crashed into the Snake River by Lorenzo Bridge on Sunday. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said the car was traveling along the old highway when the driver mistook a turn, thinking it was a ramp onto highway 20, and ended up crashing the car into the Snake River. All 5 passengers were unharmed in the accident, but three of the passengers had to be rescued from an island in the middle of the river. The car is being removed from the river today. The accident is still being investigated.
