Woman Found Dead

UPDATE: The woman who was found at the bottom of a cliff on Sunday has been recovered and identified.  The Caribou County Fire Department, Search and Rescue, and Sheriff’s Office recovered the body of 39 year old Lana Nicole Rosalez (from Blackfoot) around 10am Monday morning.  Dispatch said they received a call from a man around 8:30pm Sunday night, who stated that he was camping with Rosalez when she got up and walked off from their campsite.  The man, Rosalez’s alleged ‘long time friend’, got up to look for her and that was when he discovered her body at the base of a cliff near Blackfoot Reservoir and called 911.
Crews used ropes and baskets in an attempt to recover the body on Sunday night, but were unsuccessful.  The next day, rescue workers were able to gain access to the base of the cliff and recover the body.
Officials have said that they think alcohol might have been a factor, and that they dont suspect any foul play at this point in the investigation, which is still on-going.
