I.F. Man Arrested for Aggravated Battery

Idaho Falls Police arrested a 19-year-old man for aggravated battery after he injured another man during a fight in a parking lot near the intersection of Holmes Avenue and 17th Street.
Casey Scott Chaffin of Idaho Falls was arrested Friday as a result of a July 22 fight.
The victim reported to police that Chaffin punched him several times during an altercation. The altercation started after the victim and others were approached by Chaffin and his friends asking for their names. The victim refused and told Chaffin to “mind his own business”.
