I.F. Man arrested for Drugs After Foot Chase

Idaho Falls Police arrested Scott Alvin Larson early Tuesday morning for possession of methamphetamine following a short foot chase.
Larson, 32, was initially stopped by police near 14th and Holmes Avenue for a traffic violation.
According to a report, Larson fled from his vehicle at 14th and Holmes after an officer attempted to stop him for a traffic violation. Officers chased Larson for a short time before he gave up as officers continued to follow him.
During their investigation, officers found that Larson had a warrant for his arrest. He was also in possession of 6.33 grams of methamphetamine.
He was also arrested for resisting arrest, driving without privileges and no insurance.
