Idaho Falls Budget Approaching Finalization

(IDAHO FALLS) – The city of Idaho Falls is in the final stages of approving a $178 million budget for the 2011-2012 fiscal year. While city officials have vowed to keep property taxes low, patrons may see increased fees at the Tautphaus Park Zoo, the ice rink, and the golf course. A public hearing on the proposed budget has been set for August 25 at the City Council Chambers.
