INL Fire Contained, Burns 50,000 Acres

(IDAHO FALLS) – Officials with the Idaho National Laboratory say the T-17 fire is 100 percent contained as of this weekend. Local News 8 reports that normal work reopened at the Nuclear Technology and Energy Center as well as the Materials and Fuels Complex after the fire burned an estimated 50,000 acres. Crews will continue to monitor hotspots until the area is deemed safe.
