Road Reopened After Drunken Canal Crash

(POCATELLO) – A section of Hi-line Road in Pocatello had to be closed Saturday night, following an accident involving a drunk driver. Police say the driver of an SUV crashed into a concrete barrier between El Rancho and Meadowbrook. The SUV landed in a canal. Police took the man into custody after failing a field sobriety test. Crews spent about 90 minutes carefully pulling the vehicle out of the canal.
