This November, voters will head to the polls to make a final decision, and residents already have mixed views. Wood River High School’s environmental club is hoping the initiative will pass, while a bag manufacturer in Jerome is opposed to the ban. Under the proposal, retailers who ignore the ban would face a $50 daily fine until they comply.
