UPDATE: High Court Dismisses Redistricting Lawsuit
(BOISE) – The Idaho Supreme Court has thrown out a lawsuit against a bipartisan panel responsible for redrawing the state’s political boundaries. Citing a lack of legal authority, the justices dismissed the case after no new maps were put forth. The high court may reconsider if maps are actually drawn up. The panel had been working since June on the boundaries, but failed to reach a consensus before last week’s deadline.
